After many appointments with many ‘professionals’. It was confirmed that my son has Irlen. After a very long journey it was so rewarding to hear my son read efficiently for the first time when using Irlen colours. The comment of ”mummy the letters don’t change anymore” proved to me that more knowledge needs to be shared in regards to Irlen. Dianna has been wonderful in explaining the journey and her patience with very unsettled and distracted children is greatly appreciated
I have really appreciated working with you over quite a number of years now. You have always advocated for our students in your testing, reporting and recommending any equipment needed (lenses, over-lays, etc.) and when needed have gone over and above what was required to support them.
We received our glasses today. I just want to say a big thank you from myself and Monique. They have made a huge difference just wearing them today. I appreciate everything that you have done in helping us both. Thank you again. I have also received Monique’s report which I can take to her school on Wednesday. Look forward to reading mine too. I really just want to thank you again. Monique had an emotional moment when she first put on her glasses as did I and we just wanted to let you know that I think you have changed our lives with your help and expertise, especially Monique’s future schooling. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Lucy and Monique.
Hi Dianna,
I just remembered that I haven’t sent you your recommendation/referral – Emma has always struggled with her studies, reading and self organisation,  Emma has improved 3 fold since working with her vision, and now I can’t stop her reading, from not picking up a book to not putting a book down, 500+ page books, studies have improved as well 😊 well done Dianna.
I was diagnosed with Irlen Syndrome about 4 months ago. I was a true sceptic, how could coloured glasses make a difference.
My Irlen glasses have changed my life. The benefits have been so numerous it is hard to know where to start.
– I no longer get to the end of the day feeling exhausted and as though my brain is overloaded and about to explode. Many of my friends comment that I look a lot more relaxed and they assume that I have just returned from a holiday, the truth is I have Irlen glasses
– I am much calmer (get less agitated)
– I am now able to go shopping without feeling stressed or exhausted. Previously the florescent lights made shopping a very unpleasant experience
– I now enjoy music and listening to the radio, previously I hated noise as it made me feel nausea and made my head hurt
– I am now able to drive confidently at night, previously the headlights made night driving difficult
Life has become much easier and more pleasurable. It has taken me 43 years to be diagnosed, I wish I had done it sooner. If you have Irlen symptoms contact Dianna as soon as possible to arrange an assessment, who knows coloured glasses may change your life too!
